Speedboat trips around Dusseldorf
From the Medienhafen to Kaiserswerth, from the Robert-Lehr bank to Neuss, as you like – but always sailing past the picturesque old town. Experience Dusseldorf from a new vantage point..
Duration of voyage: 30 minutes
Off to the “gravel pit” – frequently booked, our most popular voyage.
Set sail in Dusseldorf! We sail past Kaiserswerth, heading towards Krefeld, to visit a little gravel pit (duration of voyage approx. 20 minutes), where we take a short break with the opportunity to enjoy a drink. We always have drinks (beer, mineral water, cola) on board. After this stop, we then sail back, sail past the waterfront of the old town of Dusseldorf (a beautiful view from the water) and end back where we started.
Duration of voyage: 60 minutes
Port to port
We are happy to pick up our passengers from the “Medienhafen” in Duisburg. From here, we sail along an industrial canal for 15 minutes, until the canal meets the river Rhine. Downstream, our speedboat voyage takes up past the factories of Duisburg and Uerdingen, before then sailing past beautiful buildings in Wittlar, the northernmost part of Dusseldorf, as well as passing by Kaiserswerth and the old town, before our voyage finishes at the fantastic “Medienhafen” in Düsseldorf..
Duration of voyage: 60 minutes
Up to Cologne – and back..
Setting off from Dusseldorf, we sail up river towards Cologne, always following the river Rhine, which winds its way along this part of its course, meandering past picturesque villages and towns like Grimmlinghausen, Zons, Dormagen, Chorweiler and Leverkusen, until we finally reach the brand new Medienhafen in Cologne. Shortly before arriving, we sail past the impressive Cologne Cathedral, which is especially beautiful from the water side. Once we have arrived in Cologne you then have an opportunity to visit the chocolate museum, for example, which lies just in the entrance to the port.
Duration of return voyage: 150 minutes excluding your stay in Cologne.
